SLMG Meeting – The Green Mum | Meera Jain

Meera Jain, The Green Mum – Monday, January 20, 2020

Meera Jain, The Green Mum, is a mother of two, a wife, a teacher, and now quite the eco-warrior. As a young mom, she quickly discovered that there was so much more she could do to be more earth-friendly than she already was. She soon became very passionate about reducing plastic waste and the carbon footprint that she and her busy family were creating. Meera has now evolved into a passionate eco-blogger, and she will be here on Monday to give us some tips about how to make our family’s life a little greener.

Meera will teach us how to take small steps to improve our waste reduction – hints, tricks and products that are easy starters for busy moms who don’t have much extra time on their hands.  Come with your questions, and your reusable coffee mugs, and learn how to cut down on your family’s carbon emissions.

Check out Meera’s site, www.thegreenmum.net or her Instagram page @thegreenmum, for a sneak preview of Monday’s talk.

Meeting starts at 9:30 for refreshments … speaker at 10am.
